3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure provided by our hosting platform. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using industry-standard encryption methods. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel and is protected by authentication and access controls.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Service. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:
- Cloud Hosting & Database: Our hosting provider stores your account data, project data, and uploaded files
- Google Services: If you connect a Google account, we use Google APIs to integrate with Google Sheets for data export. Google's privacy policy applies to your use of Google services
- Push Notification Services: Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and web push services are used to deliver notifications to your devices. These services may receive device tokens and notification content
- Email Delivery: We use email infrastructure to send you notifications, reminders, and support communications
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We share your information only with authorized members of your project team (such as developers, contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, and lenders) as required for the app's functionality. For example, a homeowner can see selections and progress for their project, and a lender can review draw requests for projects they are associated with.
We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account and project data is retained while your account is active
- Photos and files are retained for the duration of the associated project
- Activity log entries are retained to maintain a project audit trail
- Push notification tokens are retained until you disable notifications or delete your account
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process such requests within 30 days.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., California, EU/EEA, UK), you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
